Personal Interests & Hobbies
Beyond the Laboratory
I find balance through civic, social, intellectual, and spiritual engagement. Whether exploring Cairo’s storied libraries, visiting historical museums, writing essays, practicing Islamic scholarship, hiking outdoors, or being a dedicated father, these pursuits continually enrich my perspective as an educator, engineer, and scholar.
Writing & Scholarship
Writing reflective essays on higher education, information science theory, artificial intelligence governance, and cultural history.
Poetry & Verse
Contemplative and spiritual poetry exploring heritage, spiritual devotion, existential meaning, and Arabic poetic aesthetics.
Photography
Visual storytelling capturing architectural heritage across Cairo, natural light on mountain trails, and urban cityscapes.
Libraries, Museums & Coffee
Re-immersing myself in Cairo’s vibrant heritage, historic architectural libraries, national museums, and the contemplative morning ritual of coffee in a thriving community.
Hiking & Fatherhood
Nature hikes, trail exploration, and cherishing time with family. Being a devoted father and sharing moments of discovery with my children.
